Just for you Meredith!

Your car is wishing it is with you in Florence, where one would assume the weather is nicer than this!

Yes, that's snow:(

Oh, and your vicious cat Smudge whacked our lovely dog Luna this morning, and there are quite a few blood spots on the lovely 'clean' Chinese rug in the family room.

(Only Meredith will get all the humour in that sentence)

We had scorching weather on Sunday then on the Monday the rain was chucking down and we had hail stones!!!!

We had that nasty white stuff coming down all day yesterday. I hope it melts of today but it's not looking promising so far.

I figured it was about time to actually use more of the functions on my camera. Hopefully this challenge of posting a photo taken each day at our farm will get me actually reading the instruction dvd and practicing some of the other things that I've never tried with the camera.

I don't have an DSLR, but will one day, but first I told myself I had to make full use of the camera I already have. I bought this one at the beginning of March last year because it had a good video function and a decent zoom. I didn't want to put out a whole lot of money at that point and I wasn't sure how much I 'd actually use the camera. Ten months and 5000 photos later, well I guess I do take a few pictures:)
