Confetti!

All this confetti....did I miss a wedding?

The cherry tree was late to bloom, and when it finally did it seems the rain is wasting no time knocking the blossoms off.

That is really pretty, but drat the rain! It is overcast here again today but at least no rain, might have to get out the sprinklers and wet the lawn.

It's so pretty. The same thing happened here, I have a cherry blossom in my front garden and then the wind and rain came along and blew it all off!!! :(

I figured it was about time to actually use more of the functions on my camera. Hopefully this challenge of posting a photo taken each day at our farm will get me actually reading the instruction dvd and practicing some of the other things that I've never tried with the camera.

I don't have an DSLR, but will one day, but first I told myself I had to make full use of the camera I already have. I bought this one at the beginning of March last year because it had a good video function and a decent zoom. I didn't want to put out a whole lot of money at that point and I wasn't sure how much I 'd actually use the camera. Ten months and 5000 photos later, well I guess I do take a few pictures:)
