This is what happens when you take a really ho-hum photo taken at the agility fun match today, with the flash, which made the background really dark, and darken it up some more. (Meredith had been playing around with the flash. It's all her fault!)

Not sure if you think it's blood, which it isn't, it's just a bit of staining and part of her leash below that looks like blood dripping.
