Pretty in Sunlight

It was one of those weird days with hail one minute and sun the next, but lovely to have it clear off later this afternoon and get some real sunshine.

This bush, whose name escapes me at the moment, is looking quite lovely with all it's cascades of tiny blooms.

Both of you have lovely pictures! This plant is quite nice. I don't think they grow up here as I have never seen one before, what a shame!

I figured it was about time to actually use more of the functions on my camera. Hopefully this challenge of posting a photo taken each day at our farm will get me actually reading the instruction dvd and practicing some of the other things that I've never tried with the camera.

I don't have an DSLR, but will one day, but first I told myself I had to make full use of the camera I already have. I bought this one at the beginning of March last year because it had a good video function and a decent zoom. I didn't want to put out a whole lot of money at that point and I wasn't sure how much I 'd actually use the camera. Ten months and 5000 photos later, well I guess I do take a few pictures:)
